Process of the hike...
Seeing gorillas in the wild is a special experience.
The most important thing is to treat the animals with respect!
Therefore, before the hike, all participants are informed about the behavior of the monkeys, nature and the correct etiquette in the rainforest.
After having wandered through the dense rainforest for a certain time, perceiving the very special background noise and fruity / Flowery smelly, you can already see the first gorillas.
The guide explains the daynamic and behavior within a gorilla family for about 1 hour.
Then it goes back to the accommodation to review the special impressions.
Tips & Tricks
The best time to travel: June – August / December – late February
Since you are in a dense rainforest, we recommend that you wear long clothes to avoid scratches and insect bites.
Due to the high humidity, you should definitely pack functional clothing.
