Shumba Camp was built in the middle of Kafue National Park. It is an award-winning premium accommodation in the wildlife-rich Busanga Plains in the extensive Kafue National Park. In the shade of mighty fig trees there is a swimming pool, the dining area and the bar, where you can admire the sunset with a refreshing drink. In the boma, meals are prepared on an open fire in front of the guests. In Shumba Camp you have the only place in Zambia where you get the possibility of a balloon ride over the whole National Park.

FANTASTIC VIEW
The elegant Shumba Camp, named after the pride of lions occasionally seen in the area, is located on a forested island in the center of the million-acre Busanga Plain. The wild and remote floodplains, where hundreds of Lechwe antelopes, pukus, other antelopes and their predators live, seem endless.
THE BUSANGA EBENE
Six luxurious tent units stand on wooden platforms above these endless Plains. Each tent is a spacious and quiet space from which one can observe the vast wilderness - from the bed, from the various seating areas or the indoor or outdoor showers.
